Markway Ranch in Eldon, Mo., is owned and operated by Marc and Betty Markway and their family. The Markway’s have been have been raising Quarter and Paint horses since the early 1970s. As well, Marc is a veterinarian whose practice emphasis is equine health. The mission of Markway Ranch is to produce athletic, intelligent and structurally sound horses, with good looks and desirable colors as added bonuses. Our stallions are foundation bred and have excellent dispositions. They include:

• Perty Black Buck, a true blue roan stallion and great grandson of Pretty Buck

• Wheeling Mocha, an AQHA and NRHA point-earning, black stallion

Our brood mare band carries the blood of Peppy San Badger, King, Doc Tari, Docs Prescription, Zan Parr Bar, Goldseeker Bars, Pretty Buck and Blackburn. We breed all mares through AI, including our own, and have over 25 years experience with AI. We use reproductive ultrasound technology to ensure the most accurate breeding; as well, cooled, shipped semen is available.
